Draft and Publish

What are you looking for?
Kanorio uses a separate mechanism for drafts and published versions. Changes you make in the editor are automatically saved as a draft and do not immediately affect your live website. When you confirm your changes are complete, clicking "Publish" synchronizes the draft to the live version.
How It Works
| Action | |------|------| | Editor Save | Changes are saved to the draft; visitors cannot see them. | | Click Publish | Draft content is synchronized to the live version; visitors see the latest content. |
"Unpublished Changes" Notification
When you have made changes that are not yet published, the editor's top bar will display a red dot or an "Unsynced" notification. Clicking "Publish" will remove the notification, indicating that your live website has been updated.
Draft Retention
- Drafts are retained indefinitely until you actively publish or delete them.
- If you leave the editor and return later, your draft will still be there.
- Drafts are not automatically cleared due to inactivity or subscription status.
Updates After Publishing
- Sitemap: After publishing, the sitemap is automatically updated to reflect the latest page structure.
- SEO: SEO settings such as meta titles and descriptions take effect after publishing.
- Tracking Codes: Third-party tracking (GTM, Pixel, etc.) only loads on the published website.
